Founding Physician Dt. Sema Saçlı
Born in Istanbul in 1980, Sema Saçlı entered Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1997 after her primary and secondary education and graduated from the faculty in 2002 and received the title of dentist. In 2014, she completed her mastership program called Laser Applications in Dentistry, a joint program of Bezm-i Alem University (Vakıf Gureba) and Aachen University. In addition, since 2020, she has been continuing her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Nişantaşı University. In her master’s thesis, she continues her studies on ‘Defining emotions and the relationships of personality traits in individuals with bruxism (teeth clenching and teeth grinding)’.
Between 2002 and 2003, he worked at Private Büyükçekmece Hospital. Saçlı started to work at Esencan Surgical Medical Center in 2003 and continued his duty there until 2013 and undertook the management of the dental department. In 2006, she worked at Bahçelievler Oral and Dental Health Center- Esenyurt Polyclinic for a short time. Saçlı, who currently works at Esendent Oral and Dental Health Center, is one of the founding physicians and managers of the center.
In 2010, she studied implantology in Basel, Switzerland, and in 2012, she attended the nitrogen oxide course and piezo surgery course opened by the Aegean Region Chamber of Dentistry. In 2013, he studied nitrogen oxide in Regio-Emilia (Techno-dent), Italy and implantology at Nuremberg (Internationales Fortbildungszentrum für Zahnärztliche Implantologie), Germany.
Saçlı was a member of the International Team of Implantology (ITI dental implantology group) between 2007 and 2012 and was a founding member of the Global Dental Association in 2012. He is also a member of the Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (EDAD) and the Association of Oral and Dental Health Institutions (ADİŞSAD) since 2012.
